To provide personnel services to enhance the personal state of readiness for all military personnel assigned to the Air Force Test Center
KMEA provided mission-essential on-site independent personnel services to the Military Personnel Section of the United States Air Force Edwards Air Force Base by conducting customer satisfaction surveys and managing the Personnel Systems Management for the unit commander. KMEA responded to all customer inquiries and complaints within three business days if unable to provide an immediate response.
Services included Out Processing Application (OPA), Air Force Promotion Systems, Automated Records Management System (ARMS) user access, Case Management System, and Airman Development Program base liaison. KMEA provided support in planning and implementation of current and future military data systems at the base level, including user account maintenance and user training/support on software and hardware installations. KMEA also managed Air Force Instruction 36-2803 –Awards and Decorations Program and Passport Administration Program.
KMEA manned the customer service desk by processing Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS) enrollments, Common Access Cards (CAC), and Dependent Identification cards during regular work hours Monday through Friday using the Real-Time Automated Personnel Identification System (RAPIDS) workstation.
In accordance with emergency/disaster exercises, KMEA participated in supported inspections when required. Inspections included Operational Readiness Evaluation (ORE), Operations Readiness Inspection (ORI), and Unit Compliance Inspection (UCI).
